We once went to Michaels often. Then we stopped and in thinking about it, I remembered that we stopped because it felt as if they were trying to rush us in and out. That in and of itself is not acceptable when one is spending a LOT of money for a dining experience. So we gave it a try again last month. The service was a bit condescending. The waitperson (female) interrupted conversation constantly. The food was just ok. We ordered steaks, their specialty, and ours were not that good. All in all, I guess we'll put them lower on our list.

Went to Michaels last night for first time. Had heard allot of great reviews by word of mouth. It was well worth it. Even though we only took advantage of sitting at the bar and having some fondue (cheese). We will most definitely be back and I really enjoyed learning from the bartender that they have a Light Menu (...at bar or restaurant) if you just want a half portion menu from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. I don't always have a big appetite but enjoy a great balanced meal out on the town :)

I have been to Key West several times and most recently I tried Michaels restaurant. Wow what a great spot!! The food was the BEST we have had in our 5 years of dining in Key West,the service was on the money,and the outside bar could become everyones favorite place to be.The ambiance is wonderful.A MUST for anyone who REALY enjoys dining out.

After my first trip to this restaurant my mother and I have now put it on our MUST SEE list for our Key West vists. I have been back twice now, and have reservations for next month. The food is amazing, of all of things I have tried I have yet to be disappointed. The service is prompt, curteous and impeccable. (And to impress a waitress who has been in the business as long as myself that is VERY impressive) And the ambience is to die for. Michaels came highly recommended. The staff was great but I was disappointed in the meal. The steak was okay not great as I had expected. Overall it was just okay.

I wish that everyone in the world could eat at this restaurant before they die. I can't say enough about this experience. I felt like I was eating in Heaven.
