Angelo's Steakpit never disappoints. A simple old western atomosphere sets it aside from other restaurants. The steak is some of the best in Panama City Beach. The prices are great too, the Filet Mignon is only around $28,a steal for the taste. It also has a gift shop and a big steer in front to take pictures with the family. The wait is usually 10-30 minutes but its definetly worth it. The only bad thing about this resaurant is the staff is not the best they don't take too much interest in you. Even so, Angelo's Steakpit is a place to enjoy your vacation with food.

Great steak dinner! The owners need to top off a great meal with a much better selection of bread. Black Angus has you beat with their sourdough bread. Make this improvement to improve your star rating. Also, please remove the inside door to the ladies restroom! What a pain when entering and exiting. This design is especially bad when someone is attempting to enter as you are leaving! Overall - great food and great service!

This steakhouse is the best. You should expect a wait if you show up later than about five but it is well worth it. The food is superb and the price is a little higher than most traditional steakhouses but as your waiting you can cruise the gift shop or have a cold drink and watch the chefs prepare an array of thick juicy steaks through the glass windows outside. It is a must for all to experience at least once.

Angelo's Steak Pit offers a unique dining experience akin to stepping back in time a few decades. The decor hasn't changed much, if at all, since the 1970's, and the quality of the hickory-pit steaks, chicken and pork remain excellent. If seafood, salads and dessert fare are your aim, I would suggest going elsewhere, but for the juiciest, thickest cuts of red and white meat in the area, at relatively reasonable prices, it's hard to top Angelo's.

Overhyped and overpriced. This place is certainly not fine dining but has fine dining prices. The filet mignon came with a choice of potatoes or mixed vegetables so I had to pay $8.00 on top of $26.00 in order to get mushrooms.I ordered my steak medium rare and ended up with a well done medium. They served 3 slices of what looked like sandwich bread instead of rolls or a specialty bread. My wife had finished hers and my replacement steak still hadn't shown up.She stated it was good but nothing special. We paid the bill and left Angelos never to return.

Yep that's a huge steer out front, it makes the restaurant hard to miss. Believe me this staple of Panama City is not one to be missed. If you're looking for a truly great steak go no further. The seasoning that is used on the steak is just superb. They even sell it. Over the last 20 years this has been one of the restaurants we come back to over and over. Each and every time we come it is always the same quality, the same taste, the same great service. I’ve eaten at some of the most highly praised steakhouses in Colorado and Texas and Angelo’s is as good if not better. Truly a highlight of Panama City eateries, Angelo's and the 20,000lb bull are not an experience to be missed!

I really liked the atmmosphere of this place, old cowboy type. Too bad the food made me and my boyfriend sick ALL NIGHT. The staff seemed to be friendly but the food is horrible.

I checked out Angelo's when I was covering steak joints for my Top 5 show on steakhouses. Over and over I was amazed at the customer loyalty for Angelo's. Literally, I don't know if I've ever heard of a restaurant where people have gone for DECADES and never changed their minds that its the best. You must understand, this is a very specific kind of restaurant. It's its own class of place, but the kind that's very much a piece of Americana. When you walk in, it could be 1965, 1980 or the present. Angelo's still has the steer heads on the wall, the Western decor, the booths, the huge lines, the gift shop, the same family owners who love their business and stick with it, and that fire pit grilling those steaks. So many things change or reflect the times. Angelo's is Angelo's, and with fire and steak, they've pleased an impressive number of people for generations. Look for the big bull. Smile. You're in Panama City Beach, and this is a great place to see and taste exactly what that is.

$100 for 2 adults and 2 children is a bit much, but if you want an awesome steak experience it can't be beat. Service is good, food is very good. If price is an issue you might try longhorn steakhouse, simliar but less expensive.

The smell from this restaurant is great, but that is where it ends. Normally the wait is outrageous and during our meal, the chicken fingers were overcooked, the steak was griselly and the replacement chicken fingers were just like the first batch. Only 1 of the 4 meals ordered lived up to the Angelo's hype.

We eat here every time we come PCB. They serve the best steaks..the filet is outstanding. I don't eat steak that often but look forward to Angelo's every summer. The waitstaff is very atentive. Go early to avoid waiting for a table. You won't regret dining at Angelo's.

Best steaks on the beach. Period. The atomsphere is crowded and loud, but well worth it if you want a juicy, mouth-watering steak. We've been eating here for years and never been disappointed.

Angelo's is wonderful! Mouthwatering steaks and delicious hand-made onion rings are just a few of Angelo's fine food. The setting inside is relaxing and a wonderful staff is there to take care of everyting. You must give Angelo's a try.
