Anyone who has lived in Panama City (or visited for that matter) has seen Bayou Bill’s Crab House. The sea faring theme runs from the style of the building, through it’s interior décor, and probably out the back of the place. It is actually quite fun. The menu has a real plethora of very exotic sounding dishes. Most settle with the bucket of crab legs as we did. Since I really love gator tail I figured I would try that as an appetizer. I ordered mine blackened and we had a side order fried brought out for everyone to try. It was excellent. We also had the fried calamari, and unlike most restaurants, this squid was perfect, tender and delicious with an absolutely wonderful remoulade. The crab was wonderful, butter/lemon plentiful, and the white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake was a killer end of a great meal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving the place a hometown feeling. I can’t wait to head back to Bayou Bill’s; the next time you drive by don’t pass this gem up.
