Ate there on Aug. 17,2010. Waaaay too pricey!! fried oysters were small and overcooked. crab legs were good. overall, wasn't worth $24.95 plus drink per person. But when the same person owns the only all-u-can-seafood buffets in PCB, he can pretty much charge what he wants to. Wouldn't eat there again for that price!!

We went for their Sunday Brunch. Should have known when very few cars were in the lot. The service was above average for a buffet, but the food was awful. The scrambled eggs were dry and bland, the bacon was good, the sausage was hard and tasteless. The fried chicken was overcooked and dry. The desserts were just terrible. We definitely would not go there again.

The better crab leg buffet place, 2007-06-17

Not sure how many crab leg all you can eat buffets there are in PCB but between Capt. Jack's and Bishops, we liked Capt Jacks the best. Price was the same for both places, and we really only went for the crab legs. Capt. Jack's other food looked better, and the atmosphere was definately better, so we went back to Capt Jack's again. Bishops buffet atmosphere was not very inviting, kind of like an old style pizza place.

i'm not usually that crazy about a buffet but the breakfast buffet here is great.. my waitress was very good to me and my 3 kids..they had great french toast...the pancakes had real blueberries in them..omelets with cheese, sausage, bacon, biscuits, fruit, grits, hashbrowns, too much to name...we were very pleased

My fiance and I went to Captain Jack's craving sea food...but not wanting to commit to one particular type of seafood. Well...we went for the buffet...at an astounding $21.95 per person. The food was good, but it wasn't solid gold. Our waitress was good, but the rest of the staff were rude and discourteous. And the crab legs that were on the buffet? They were under the steam table so long that the shells were soft and hard to crack. Not so sure I would return here right away.

Had high hopes for dinner there, there seems to always be a crowd, but this place is a dog! The dinner was $21.95 per and you are basically paying for the crab legs. They don't even use real butter to dip your crab. Gave me the ****s! I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only recommendation I would make is that it be torn down for a new condo.

Very good selection of seafood, American, and other ethnic dishes. Lots of choices for our 4 year old also. A bit expensive compared to some other restaurants in the area. Come hungry to make it worth your money or try the lunch buffet instead to save a bit of money.
