Waterway Hills  updated!
Recent Reviews
Location: In the heart of the action of Myrtle Beach. Right smack dab in the middle of Restaurant Row!
Waterway Hills Golf Club is a "signature course"designed by the "Dean of Golf Architecture" Robert Trent Jones. The layout is "classic" Jones, with strategic landing area's crowned greens and superb bunkering. When the enclosed gondola whisks you across the Intracoastal Waterway, you'll find 27 superbly maintained holes, set amid woodlands and lakes in tranquil seclusion. Waterway Hills offers a traditional design with a rolling terrain and strategically placed bunkers. The Oaks, Lakes and Ravine courses each have their own challenges and personalities indicative of their names. Ask your hotel golf director to include Waterway Hills, one of the only two Robert Trent Jones designs at the beach.

West Course at Myrtle Beach National  updated!
Location: On the main artery leading into Myrtle Beach, Hwy 501
One of the most challenging courses in Myrtle Beach is the beautiful West Course at Myrtle Beach National. From the regular tees, golfers of all abilities will enjoy this classic Arnold Palmer design. But be prepared for a professional challenge from the back tees, as the numerous doglegs, fairway bunkers and natural hazards come into play. Carved through a majestic Carolina pine forest, The West offers everyone the feel of a private club. Be sure to have your Myrtle Beach hotel include the West at Myrtle Beach National on your schedule.

Willbrook Plantation  updated!
Location: On the south end of the Grand Strand, in historic and beautiful Pawley's Island.
Carved from the site of two Carolina plantations, Willbrook Plantation Golf Club is a course that noted architect Dan Maples has often called "One of my best!" Willbrook winds its way amid a centuries-old oak forest where nature abounds. It was recently featured on the award-winning television show "Nature Scene" for its peaceful coexistence of golfers and nature. Willbrook is known for not only the tactical play ability required, but also for the natural surroundings you'll experience. This makes it a favorite of returning women golfers.

The Witch
It took the genius of Dan Maples, architect of Marsh Harbour, Oyster Bay, and The Pearl, to design a course as incredible as The Witch. Encompassing over 500 acres between Conway and South Myrtle Beach, SC, The Witch was created as a world of its own, carefully removed from the distractions of homes, hotels, and development.

The Wizard
Location: Located on Highway 501 between Myrtle Beach and Conway, SC
If you thought that golf courses at the beach lacked elevation changes, wait until you play The Wizard. Dan Maples created a landscape that will remind you of the mountains. Take Hole #13, for example. It's a 408-yard, Par 4 that plays through a valley, surrounded by towering mounds covered with all kinds of flowers, shrubs, and Love grass.
