This two-story building was constructed in 1809 by Antoine Angue. It was built during the peak of the Theatre d'Orleans, across from the old Salle d'Orleans. The restaurant served some of the city's most discriminating customers and gained recognition from the quality of food it served. Today, the property is owned by Pam Fortner and Earl Bernhardt. Beautifully renovated with its prestigious past and guest enjoyment in mind, it offers a pleasant atmosphere, extensive wine list and delicious food. Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by serving quality meals to New Orleans' best.

Palace Cafe's "Flavor of New Orleans" cuisine is served everyday at this upbeat and lively grand café owned and operated by Dickie Brennan, of the famed New Orleans restaurant family. Located on historic Canal Street, Palace Café is housed in the Werlein building (former home of Werlein's, the nation's oldest family owned retail music chain), which has served as a New Orleans landmark since the turn of the century.
