Autumn Tides Month at Silver Sands Factory Stores
Destin, FL -The fall season at Beaches of South Walton undoubtedly offers a unique getaway with cultural events, beautiful sunsets and the tranquil natural beauty of the area. What better way to remember these timeless moments than with an autumn-themed watercolor print available exclusively from Silver Sands Factory Stores. October is Autumn Tides Month at Silver Sands, featuring another highly anticipated watercolor print by renowned local artist Donna Burgess.
This is the seventh consecutive year that 2008 Artist of the Year Donna Burgess has partnered with Silver Sands for the highly anticipated print that portrays the beautiful fall season at Beaches of South Walton. Donna is debuting a new series of artwork this year, "Autumn through the Artist's Eyes."
During the entire month of October, Silver Sands shoppers can redeem $300 in same-day receipts to receive a complimentary, limited-edition 2008 Autumn Tides print.
"Shoppers begin inquiring about the new print as early as this summer so we decided to host an unveiling ceremony to present it first to our stores and the local community who are a huge part of the success of this program," said Traci Stokes, Marketing Director for Silver Sands.
"On the Wings of Autumn" will be available exclusively at Silver Sands during October 2008 for the Autumn Tides Month celebration. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Donna Burgess and have their print personally autographed at two special artist signings.
Donna Burgess has been an active figure in the Florida Gulf Coast art scene for more than 20 years and has galleries in Sandestin and Bay County. Her highly collectible multimedia interpretations and award-winning festival art capture the beauty and joy of coastal life, such as tin-roof beach cottages, animals and children at play and whimsical marine creatures. A popular line of products are also produced and marketed by Donna Burgess Galleries, including limited edition prints, clothing, tiles, greeting cards and embroidered items. National manufacturers have licensed her images for paper products, tableware and a custom line of domestic accessories.
Autumn Tides prints will be available at Silver Sands Shopper Services building, located in the Fashion Court between Coach and Michael Kors, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For more information,
