Destin, FL -The Florida Gulf Coast has long had a need for an excellent boat show, and now it looks like we're getting it! The Emerald Coast Boat Show, slated for the weekend after Memorial Day, promises a wide range of products and services on offer for boaters, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts of all persuasions.
One of the best aspects of the show is that many of the boats will be displayed in the water... you'll get to see how the boat you want feels and looks in it's natural environment.
Expect to find vendor displays and demonstrations on every aspect of fishing and boating - electronics, engines, marine accessories, and even maritime-themed artwork! But the big draw, we all know, is the boats... and there's going to be over 500 boats of all types and sizes at the show!
Bass boats, deep-sea sport-fishing boats, speedboats... they're all going to be there. Whether you're in the market for a skiff for weekend fishing in the pond or a powerhouse full-bore off-shore trophy-fishing million-dollar rig, the Emerald Coast Boat Show will have you covered.
Destin was selected as the location for this new event thanks to many of the same factors that make it the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village." An excellent natural harbor, several outstanding marinas, miles of gulf-front beaches, and a tradition and commitment to boating and angling.
