Holiday on the Harbor
Destin, FL -The Destin harbor will be dancing in holiday lights and cheer as the Holiday on the Harbor celebration runs through the month of December, with the Destin Harbor Boat Parade on Sunday, December 9.
Previous year's Holiday on the Harbor were presented by EmeraldCoast.com and The Destin Log and were sponsored by AmTrust Mortgage Corporation; Beach TV; Destin Trophy, Inc.; Harrison Contracting Company; Legendary, Inc.; Mix 103; Wave 102; and Wilson-Miller.
Holiday on the Harbor festivities culminate on Sunday, December 31, with a fireworks show and boat cruise. The fireworks will begin at 8pm. The fireworks will be shot from Norriego Point and may be enjoyed from many spots along the harbor.
In past years, Holiday on the Harbor included an Art Contest for area middle school students. Winners were displayed along with all entries along the boardwalk in front of the Lucky Snapper. Christmas cards of previous year's winners were sold at the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce and will be available at the Lucky Snapper during the Destin Harbor Boat Parade.
