Seaside Half Marathon and 5K Run
March 1, 2009
Where: Seaside, FL

Both races are USATF certified and start and finish in downtown Seaside in front of the Post Office. The 13.1 mile half marathon course is out-and-back along scenic highway 30-A past the beach towns of WaterColor, Grayton, and Blue Mountain, with a turn-around near Gulf Place. The course is fast and mostly flat, ensuring fast finish times for competitive runners.

Both races are walker-friendly, and walkers are welcome to participate. However, dogs and baby/jogging strollers are not permitted on the race course. Please leave your baby strollers and dogs at the Starting Line.

In keeping with the tradition of past years, the 2009 race promises to be festive and fun!

All proceeds from both races benefit The Seaside Neighborhood School and all monies raised will stay in the community and be used to enhance school programs.

For more information, call the race hotline at (850) 231-6190, send an email to info@seasidehalfmarathon.com, or register online at www.active.com. But don’t forget to sign up early as the race is anticipated to reach its participant limits long before race day! End of Article
