POST HURRICANE IRMA UPDATE: United Way of the Florida Keys and Sister Season Fund

Many people have asked how they can help with the rebuilding effort in the Florida Keys & Monroe County in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Please consider sharing and donating to some of the causes below!

United Way of the Florida Keys: The United Way of the Florida Keys will be accepting donations and distributing donations through their partner agencies across Monroe County including feeding programs, after school care, emergency gap services More info at keysunitedway.org.

Sister Season Fund: Sister Season Fund helps locals in the tourism related industry when temporary financial emergencies occur. They believe these individuals make up the islands infrastructure and we can't afford to lose them. Typically these individuals have very little in the way of reserves, insurance or benefits. Under these circumstances, qualified applicants can receive financial assistance to help keep a roof over their heads and keep the utilities turned on. The Sister Season Fund is locals helping locals. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be made at sisterseason.com.
