Key West, FL -

Marathon Seafood Festival
March 14-15, 2009
Where: Marathon Community Park

Look for that treasure in the nautical flea market and you’ll also find a boat show, arts and crafts, experimental and antique airplanes and tons of that great fresh seafood. Enjoy the bounties of the waters that surround the Florida Keys. Feast on lobster, stone crab claws, dolphin, grouper and snapper. Did we miss any? Also on the menu you will find locally made conch chowder, conch fritters and of course fresh key lime pie and other homemade desserts.

In addition, the middle keys chapter of the experimental aircraft association will co sponsor a fly-in of unique and vintage airplanes at the Marathon Airport. Visitors are invited to watch the planes fly and land then get a close-up look at the unusual and rare aircraft. Shuttle services will run from the event field to the Marathon Airport during the festival. Come hungry to the Annual Marathon Seafood Festival Saturday March 14th and 15th at the Marathon Community Park on 36th St. End of Article
