Tropical Fruit Fiesta

Key West, FL -

Residents and visitors can experience first-hand the wonders of many different kinds of tropical fruit trees and fruit. Come to the Fruit Fiesta to see and taste many kinds of fruit and learn how to grow them. Hundreds of top-quality fruit trees will be available for purchase, including some rare and unusual trees raised by hand.

Tropical Fruit Fiesta

The annual fiesta is produced by the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences in cooperation with Monroe County Extension. There will be three fun activities for kids, including planting a pineapple for the home garden, having a roll at the orange-pineapple bowl, and writing secret messages on tree leaves. Youth and adults in 4-H clubs will transport trees to the parking area for people who need help.
