Key West WomenFest
Key West, FL -Key West WomenFest turns twenty-two this year, and turning twenty-one means more events, more activities, and yes… more women! Mark your calendars for the southernmost women’s party, September 2nd through 7th, 2008.
The annual SWING Golf Tournament returns with prizes and fun regardless of skill level. This year’s tournament will benefit Womankind, a healthcare provider for women! WomenFest will also offer daily group sports activities, excursions on the water, a lesbian film fest at the Tropic Cinema, art walks between Key West’s world class art galleries, book signings, and of course, lots and lots of parties!
This year WomenFest will introduce panel discussions with topics ranging from finance and politics to sports and entertainment, with special guest Bess Bass, the CEO of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
And of course, Womenfest will include the legendary pool and dance parties at special host venues like Aqua, Pearl’s Rainbow, and Southernmost Hotel.
