Taste of Key West
Key West, FL -Key West's culinary offerings are gaining a reputation as being among the country's finest with very talented chefs and cuisine infused with a sense of fun and individuality that relflects the spirit of the island itself.

The generous hearts of Key West meet the culinary arts on April 24, 2006 during the Annual Taste of Key West, benefitting the Key West AIDS Help Inc. The gourmet galas will feature delicacies from some 65 local restaurants as well as wines from more than 75 wineries. The event is held at the Truman Annex.
Participating restaurants donate their time, staff and product and chefs outdo each other creating gourmet tastes of Key West's indigenous cuisine, influenced by the island's seafaring heritage, subtropical climate and multicultural eclecticism.
Taste of Key West attendees purchase commemorative wine glasses and food and wine tickets prior to tasting the featured cuisine and vintages. One hundred percent of the event's proceeds go directly to serve the clients of AIDS Help. Admission and parking is free.
Old Town Trolley is offering free transportation.
