Nights of a Thousand Candles
Myrtle Beach, SC -Brookgreen's most popular annual event has become a holiday tradition! Thousands of lights sparkle from live oak trees and illuminate garden paths as musicians perform, carolers sing and visitors experience the enchantment that only Nights of a Thousand Candles brings.
All seven nights visitors will have a chance be entertained by the popular choral ensemble Vocal Edition, Rocky Fretz will return to play holiday favorites on a baby grand piano, and Bill Oberst, Jr. will perform his original one-man rendition of Charles Dickens', A Christmas Carol. In addition, an exceptional variety of live entertainment including hand bell choirs, choral groups, and other musicians will perform throughout the gardens. Tickets will be on sale from October 1 through November 30, 2008, and will be available at Brookgreen’s Admission Plaza and Lowcountry Information Center or by phone at (843) 235-6016. There will be charged a $1 processing fee to mail tickets.
Advance adult tickets are $8 for Individual and Family Members of Brookgreen Gardens.
Non-member adult advance tickets are $12.
In December, adult tickets are $10 for Individual and Family Members and child tickets (ages 6-12) are $4.
Non-member adult tickets are $15 and non-member child tickets (ages 6-12) are $6.
All children ages five and under are free. All Nights of a Thousand Candles tickets are non-refundable.
