NBA Basketball is On Fire in the Gulf South! Go Hornets!

New Orleans, LA -
Wow!!! Have you seen the latest score on the New Orleans Hornets? Can you believe they beat out the Lakers live on ESPN? What a great game that was! Number Three – Chris Paul, in only his third professional year, is breaking out like a mad man! He wants the Hornets to be the comeback kings of the NBA with this year’s return to New Orleans.

Now, dear reader, I must confess...I am not much of a basketball fan. Being a year round football fan (Professional, College, Arena, or just plain old flag football), I am a one sport woman. But, how can anyone not stop and pay attention to the New Orleans Hornets!??? I mean, with the past 9 wins (and counting)...what a time to come to New Orleans and see a great NBA Team! They still have lots games left to win in February, March and April before the big playoffs. With Chris Paul leading the team (and hopes of MVP) and at least five other players for the Hornets consistently scoring in double figures, I think the Hornets (without any injury) are - without a doubt - going to the playoffs!

The New Orleans Hornets will also play host to this years NBA All Star Games. Not just hosts, but New Orleans head coach Byron Scott has been named head coach of the Western Conference all-stars. This is a great chance for you to hang out with real live NBA Players!
The real interaction with players will take place at the Jam Session at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from February 14- 17. You will get an opportunity to meet current NBA players and your favorite legendary players, and get free autographs or pictures with them! They have courts set up for you to shoot, slam, dribble and "drive all day." It will also be a great time for the future NBA players to have an opportunity to get basketball tips from the greats. Limited edition merchandise and other great NBA items will be for sale, as well as a Kid Zone - a place for all ages.
It’s going to be an All Star game that won’t soon be forgotten! New Orleans is ready to play hard all day and party even harder at night with the NBA. So, you basketball fans have no for missing this New Orleans All Star game! For the complete New Orleans Hornets schedule, visit TripSmarter.Com's New Orleans Hornets schedule.
