Come celebrate America's Independence on the World's Most Beautiful Beaches! This year is shaping up to be one of the biggest and best Independence Day celebrations ever - with events taking place all over the Emerald Coast.

Panama City Beach, FL

Celebrate the red, white and blue while having summer fun on the beach. Pier Park is hosting an illustrious Fourth of July celebration at Aaron Bessant Park. This event will feature great food, fireworks and entertainment. A veterans memorial rededication will kick things off at 4:30 p.m. followed by an entertaining patriotic pet parade and golf cart decorating contest. Relax beachside while listening to live music as Herd of Turtles and Stillhouse rocks the park to honor our heroes. A fireworks extravaganza will light up the skies at 9:00 p.m.

Panama City, FL

This year's July 4th event is called "Salute to Freedom" and will feature "LIVE" entertainment all day concluding with the $25,000 Fireworks display on Friday, July 4th. Events will take place from 10am-10pm at the Panama City Marina.

The event will be simulcast on local Clear Channel & Magic Broadcasting radio stations. This event attracts up to 45,000 spectators to the Panama City Marina each year.

Mexico Beach, FL

Mexico Beach has a whole day of activities to celebrate the Fourth of July. Visitors can participate in their 5k run/walk at 7 AM CT at Maryland Street Park off of 7th street and their annual Children's Fishing Tournament that begins at 9 AM CT at the Mexico Beach Canal.

Stick around for dusk and enjoy their fabulous fireworks - "Best Blast on the Beach" at Frank Pate Park. Festivities will include food, games, small rides and more! For more information call Gulf County Chamber of Commerce at 227-1223 End of Article
