Indian Summer Seafood Festival

Panama City Beach, FL -

All the locals know to make their way to the Indian Summer Seafood Festival in mid-October. Why? This festival is packed full of entertainment for all ages, including Country Music stars Collin Raye and John Michael Montgomery; and more importantly, provides an incredible sampling of the best seafood this area has to offer.

Indian Summer Seafood Festival

This year's Festival will be held at Frank Brown Park. The Park is located at 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway

The food is prepared and offered by dozens of restaurants from along the Gulf Coast. This is a great place to try different ways of preparing your favorite seafood dishes...

The event is kicked off with a grand parade in which the Seafood Festival Pageant Queens are announced. Following the parade, the party begins: great food, dancing, arts and crafts, bingo, nightly fireworks, and some of the hottest Country music acts around.

This year's headliners are Collin Raye and John Michael Montgomery. Collin Raye has 23 top 10 hits to his name and is a four-time nominee for Academy of Country Music Male Vocalist of the Year.

John Michael Montgomery is "country to the core." His hits, like "Life's a Dance" and "I Swear" have earned him eleven #1 singles and sold over 15 million albums. He's also won the CMA Horizon Award and the ACM Top New Male Vocalist Award.

Expect both of these shows to fill up early, so if you want a good seat (bring a lawn chair!) you'll want to get there a couple of hours before they begin!

The Indian Summer Seafood Festival doesn't stint on the musical entertainment, and in addition to the national acts, a variety of local and regional favorites will be performing.

A whole host of local bands - Kiki, Acoustix, Double Talk and Fat Jack - will play throughout the festival.

And, as always, there'll be exhibits, karate demonstrations, fireworks, jugglers and clowns. Artisans and crafters come from around the country to offer their wares and demonstrate their skills.

Join the crowd - estimated at over 40,000 last year - who make the Indian Summer Seafood Festival such a hit. You won't regret it! End of Article
