Pensacola, FL -Teaming with the Songwriters Guild of America, Pensacola Opera has landed an outstanding, diverse lineup for its opening night of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.
Songsmiths who have penned creations for Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Count Basie and even Phil Collins and the Dixie Chicks have shared the stage at Pensacola Opera, located at 75 South Tarragona Street downtown Pensacola.
More than 220 acclaimed songwriters from Nashville
and beyond - including Grammy-award winners and No. 1 single creators - converge
on the Gulf Coast for the annual Frank Brown International Songwriters
Festival. Playing acoustic sets in intimate listening-room
settings, the artists share secrets behind their work. Artists have recognized
that live performances are a way of cracking an increasingly competitive
music industry.
