4th of July Celebrations
July 4, 2008
Where: Pensacola

The crowds head to the beach in the early afternoon to start celebrating early. Parking can sometimes be a problem - another reason to get an early start!

Pensacola Beach hurls thousands of awesome fireworks into the night sky, beginning right after dusk. The sight of the explosions reflected off the water is worth the trip alone.

Don't get in a hurry to leave after the light show. All you'll end up doing is waiting in a long line snaking over Pensacola Bay Bridge!

Instead stay for the parties most bars and nightclubs throw along the beach, or get a late dinner at one of the Beach's excellent restaurants. Make a day of it! End of Article
