Pensacola Beach 5K/10K/Half-Marathon
Pensacola, FL -Are you into running? I mean really running? Then join the Pensacola Runners Association for their annual Pensacola Beach 5K/10K/Half-Marathon. If you're up to it, it's a half-marathon - if you're not quite ready for that, it's also a 5K and a 10K run!
Every January the PRA celebrates the New Year with a brisk, invigorating run along scenic Pensacola Beach . There are post-race activiities too - bands, parties, even a polar bear dip in the Gulf!
Course Description: The Pensacola
Beach 5K/10K/Half-Marathon will start at 8am and will go down Pensacola
Beach. The course is a flat scenic course along Pensacola Beach.
Distance: 5K, 10K, or half marathon;
you decide during the race. 5 or 10K walk. An awards ceremony and
party follow the race at Cocodrie's. The
band plays, beverages flow and all running clubs from the southeast
get together for a great time. The PRA Harrington Award is presented
as part of the post race activities.
