Two days of food, music and entertainment are on tap for the 2014 Perdido Key Wine and Art Festival on April 4-5.
15500 Perdido Key Drive
Pensacola, FL 32507
Spirits will be high at a VIP gathering from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 4th, when people can sip amazing wine and sample some of the Gulf Coast's finest appetizers at the new Perdido Key Community Center, 15500 Perdido Key Drive. Expect the competition among chefs to be heated; guests will choose winners, who get bragging rights on Perdido Key.
Live music by legendary guitarist Pat McCann and this year's featured artist Margaret Biggs will also be at the VIP event. Tickets cost $25 per person or $45 per couple and are available for purchase online or at the Visitor's Information Center in Perdido Key.
No need to worry about the weather; a 1,800-square-foot tent will welcome all guests.
On Saturday April 5th the festival will be open from noon to 8 p.m., showcasing artists, musicians, vendors and wine tasting.
For $15 a guest will receive a commemorative wine glass and five tastes of wine. Additional tastes cost $2. Over 20 different wines will be showcased at the event. The selections will be palatable to everyone from a casual wine fan to a connoisseur.
The event, in its fifth year, is sponsored by the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Information Center.
