Thumbs up Bud and Alleys

Repeat visit to this fave spot of our's after a year or so hiatus. Located on the beach side of 30A in Seaside and one of those places you MUST return to year after year after year.

Still the same understated beachy elegance with many things still the same which is good in this case. The specials board listed Shrimp and Crawfish Bisque, Whole Red Snapper, Swordfish done with mushrooms and other goodies, fine glasses of wine and more.

The Ancien Chard and the Cambria Chard were both good but the less expensive Cambria won the evening. $8 a glass. I grazed this trip with Bisque, house salad with roasted hence sweeet onion, seviche and oysters done with shrimp, scallops and calamari. Of course the bread and olive oil were yummy starters. The better half got the Basque Seafood stew with fennel in the scrumptious broth. Loaded with seafood yet a lighter dish.

Topped off the meal with Capp and THE best HOMEMADE Key Lime pie ever eaten along the Emerald Coast.

Service was attentive and relaxed. Crowd early was family and concert goers for the evenings benefit for Lighthouse Family Retreat featuring Amy and Vince.

Still a fave and still 5 shells out of five from this reviewer of long standing. Bud and Alleys is a treat among treats in the Truman Show village of Seaside. A MUST eat.

Life IS definitely a beach!
