Here's the best recommendation I can give you, mobetta... read the restaurant reviews posted by other visitors to New Orleans! Every restaurant that's been reviewed already has a button that says "Reviews."

So, find a restaurant that appeals to you, click the Review button, and find out other visitors had to say about it. These are actual reviews, and we don't edit them (except for language, etc.)!

Here's one from the premier New Orleans restaurant, Commander's Palace (a favorite of presidents, celebrities & foodies), posted by Sarah Hewitt:

We were in New Orleans for a business meeting and one of our customers asked to be taken to Commander's Palace. I had not heard of the place before, but, this was an important customer, so we called to make reservations. To make a long story short, we had one of the most remarkable and memorable meals of our lives at Commander's Palace that night. Needless to say, our valued customer was thrilled, as well. We are now making plans for more meetings in New Orleans ... just so we can impress our customers at this wonderful restaurant. We're also hoping to come back for a romantic dinner, without customers in tow! Excellent! Bravo!
