Amanda, actually the Sandpiper is one of the best hotels in PCB. They have their own tiki bar that I heard is really cool. It is a long ways from all the clubs though. As for fake IDs, as I've said before, you're much better off trying to use someone's valid ID than a fake. Every place down there can spot fake IDs a mile away.
