I spoke with a representative of Sandestin yesterday. Here's what she said, "Sandestin is just fine...no structural damage, just some beach erosion, we hope to add some dunes as soon as next week to help protect further erosion."

The good thing about Sandestin is that there is so much to do in Bay Towne Wharf... it's a GREAT resort, with wonderful staff and service, and they are the most capable of making sure your vacation is as good as possible. I have had several corporate meetings there. You are going to a great place.

If the beaches at Sandestin are still a little murky for some reason, you can drive just a few miles east and the beaches are going to be great... take a road trip to Panama City Beach or Seaside and spend the day playing in the water, then, go back to Sandestin and have a ball with all the things they offer to do...
