If your going to come here just remember this is the height of the hurricane season and you should put OFF your vacation until late september. The chances of us getting slammed this year is slim however it could happen. So plan on coming here later in the fall and take advatage of the off season rates. (and your helping our economy)

Also our forecast here calls for afternoon storms betwen now and possibly the middle of september so keep that in mind.

and just note if you want to save some bucks.. do not buy ga$ in destin they have a "captured audience" there. Drive to niceville or fort walton beach. Oaklossia island is usually a few cents cheaper too. Or take transit and leave your car in the hotel. That helps us locals get from point a to b faster.
