You might be surprised how many people actually DO drive from Destin or Ft. Walton to Panama City to eat, and... since I live here in Panama City Beach, I know LOTS of folks who drive to 30A, Seaside, Grayton Beach, Destin and beyond for a great meal. The relatively new 4-laned Hwy 98 makes it MUCH quicker for us to visit your neck of the woods - more like 40-50 minutes than two hours.

You should come over to Panama City Beach on a daytrip and explore!
