I still cry over the loss of the one that died in January 2005. I thought I would be over it but apparently am not. I have her picture on my desk here at work. It was one of her when she was healthy and playing in the snow! Sure miss her. I know her son misses her also. Well, unfortunately, it appears the State Park no longer allows dogs. They did many years ago but not now. Still waiting on an email from them though to find out for sure. The one area of their site didn't say but I saw something else that said sorry, no pets allowed on another site. Well, it was not the state park that doesn't allow pets. When I went on the Chickasaw Chalet site, I thought that was for the state park. They are two totally different places. The state park does allow dogs and I have set up a reservation for the 3 of us for 3 nights. Yippee!
