It is very difficult for some people. We have some people that call that stutter so bad they end up hanging up for not being able to get their words out. I grew up in a neighborhood where we had a neighbor boy who stuttered. None of us paid attention to his stutter at all. But some nowadays get teased. And we have pranksters, teenagers, who love to call up and pretend they are stuttering and start laughing, or try to give us a name and address of someone that stutters that they want to tease about it. Horrible. We tell them we have caller id and tell them we will be contacting their parents, boy do they hang up fast!
