Hi, Can't help you out in Key West but if you can't make connections there I can give you a room for free in Marathon, FL. (50 miles from Key West). I run a motel in Marathon. You will be responsible for doing your own maintenace of the room, etc. Sheets, towels, provided and washer, dryer on premisus. Ocean front with pool. Across from Marathon arport. Hope this helps.
