if the cost is 200 billion annually, and we've been in the war since summer 2003, the total cost so far is about 700 billion. where does 1.2 trillion come from?

and i wonder how much of the 200 billion is from "increased cost of oil as a result of the war" which is arguable, maybe even false.

besides, you can't put a price on having a friend in the middle east and an ally in the war on terror. think bigger.
