True, so true!!! When he first came on the scene it was kinda cool. But then it became tiresome. Like ok we get it, you hate your wife and your mom and you love your daughter and Dre. Enough already. People in The D don't even really like him any more. But 8 mile is still ok I think to talk about. It is a road that truly shows the division of classes and races. If you stand on the Detroit side of 8 mile you are among the poorest folks in the nation. When you look across the street it's all nice and clean, and white. I myself lived on the Detroit side of 8 mile and saw the division first hand. I was discriminated against because it was assumed that since I lived in Detroit I must be a criminal or something... I would get pulled over in the suburbs because when a cop would run my plate it would show a Detroit address so it was like "What business does he have being here?" Segregation lives in Metro Detroit. It's really sad... Not trying to be a downer, just a realist...
