thanks for the links Stormi.... not exactly what I'm looking for... (although some of those dishes do look good and I'll be trying a couple of them).

I'm looking for a meaty chili, not like hot dog chili, and not like a bowl of chili... the kind of good spiciness that some restaurants put on their nachos -- and then top with cheese and jalapenos... any ideas?
