People travel from all over to come to our Independence Day Celebration. The fact of the matter is we have our own passports here (and they work!) in the Conch Republic. But most people in the States are unaware of our "independent nation" status. There is an amusing cartoon in this weeks Conch Color that fairly nails it on the head, "What would happen if the Conch Republic seceded under the Bush administration?" (Page 37).

BTW, I have been away for awhile, but I am excited about returning and contributing to the TripSmarter Key West forum. This site stuck in my head the entire time I was away!
