Backporch has very good food. Have eaten there 3 times and every time has been great. Good fried oysters. Crab cakes are very rich. Their house salad is really good compared to other places.

The Hangout bar and grill at Long Beach Resort has great food and drinks during the day. Since most people are at Long Beach for a week, the menu is varied so you can have something different everyday.

Looks like the 4th of July is going to be a sold out week for the beach. Should be a bunch of fireworks displays on the beach that night.
