i love all the groups on facebook advertising cheap student travel deals. basically you're just paying (a lot) extra to have someone do all of the "hard work" for you. but isn't part of the experience the rewarding feeling you get from booking everything yourself? maybe it's just me, but i think that's half the fun. especially after seeing how much money you saved over some schmuck that got suckered into one of these deals.

on that note, are the panamaniac or gold cards worth it? i'm going to get there friday the 13th, and leave tuesday the 17th. i'm figuring no, but thought i would ask.
