As I read the above post I applaud and admire everyones connection and love for their K9 comrades. We have been blessed with THE perfect dog sitter on our trips to PCB but not this year. My awesome mother-in-law will be a grandmother again about the time we plan on coming back to the beach so she will be busy with other matters. Our dog is 14 years old and has traveled with me on several trips but the beach will be a new experience. Does anyone know the rules concerning dogs on the beach? We have rented from the same wonderful lady for some time now and she is making an exception for us and allowing us to bring Mattie with us. We just want her to have fun with the rest of the family. We are not familiar with beach rules and pets so any info will help us plan a better vacation for her. Thanks everyone!
