ESPN2's "Wanna Go Fishing" recent filming on the Emerald Coast
Be sure to check out ESPN2’ “Wanna Go Fishing” reality based television show June 7th to see host Matt Eastman and his crew treat unexpected contestant Marine Corps Lt John Robison to a spectacular weekend of fishing our local waters. It happened when the unknowing Lt Robison was approached during a U.S Department of the Interiors wildlife management conference in Rene, Nevada, and they asked him the shows famous question “Do you wanna go fishing?” He had 5 minutes and 2 phone calls to decide if he “had the guts to go” on the fishing trip of a lifetime. Lt Robison arrived in Sandestin still in uniform; he had accommodations set up at Sandestin Resort and was provided clothing from West Marine to change into. Signature Shares used a 39’ Tiara CNV and a 32’ Regulator fully rigged and ready to fish for the weekend’s adventure. Capt Matt Condon eagerly took Lt Robison and the national television guys out on the water and showed them how incredible boating and fishing the Emerald Coast is. See pictures attached.
