Actually Daniel, that article that you linked to from pcbdaily is from 2007. Back in 2007, the spring break budget for 2008 was cut in half.

The budget for 2009 was around the same as 2008 and for 2010, it is very unlikely any deal will be made with MTVu.

There has been quite a bit of debate on the spring break issue and quite an agreement among PCB businesses that something has to be done to better control what happens here during that time.

I firmly beleive that spring break dollars are great for our area, but I have seen huge mistakes in the management of it all in the past. There needs to be a lot more planning that goes into how to handle the crowds that flock to our area during March and April each year.
