If you are planning on spending your 4th of July in Atlanta, you will have no trouble finding something to do during the holiday weekend. Here are some of the few events taking place around the city:

Fantastic Fourth Celebration - Stone Mountain Park
Their fantastic Lasershow is topped off with a spectacular fireworks display from July 2-4. The show is free with park admission.

Peachtree Road Race 10K - Lenox Square
This is the world's largest 10K road race. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. and heads down Peachtree in Buckhead, winding up in Midtown, across from Piedmont Park.

Mall of Georgia 4th of July Events
The Mall of Georgia will have fireworks and entertainment at the Pepsi Pavilion by - Misty DeLana, Redlined, Hebron Pop Band, & Thread. There will be games and other activities in the KidZone. The show starts at 11am on the Fourth, with the fireworks at, you guessed it, 9:30 p.m.
