My friends and I are all 18-20 year old college guys and we wanna take a roadtrip to ATL from Panama City, FL in a month or so for the weekend. I have a couple questions. Which route should we take driving? What is the most fun dance club in the region? What is the most exclusive, high class dance club in the region? What sections of town should we avoid? I know a girl there that is 17, so could she get in any club with us one night? How far is Atlanta from Jackson County in time? Thanks!

Eleven50 is the coolest club in Atlanta. They are pretty strict about underage, though, so I wouldn't count on going into many great clubs at age 17.

There are, however, some great places that serve food and drinks - no real dancing, but VERY cool places to hang out. The newest is Shout at Colony Square. Very hot right now.

It takes about 5 hours to get to Atlanta... stick to 231, then 431 to 85.

Hey Chickmagnet, (Nice name!) The Best place to go for 18 and up party in Atlanta is Wild Bill's on Wednesday nights. This is their College Night and it is...well, WILD! DJ Mike B spins everything from house, to hits, to hip-hop! There is usually 2000-3000 people out for this!
Also Moe's and Joe's in the Virginia Highlands has a good 18+ party.
The Masquerade has lot's of Live shows, most are all ages. That is really the only all ages venue, (your 17 year old friend may have some challenges trying to get in to most clubs here.)

The most high end clubs in Atlanta are: Eleven50, Tongue and Groove, Cosmo/Lava, Halo, Vision, Compound, Club 112, The Mark, Sutra Lounge and Wild Bill's. Coyote Ugly is not a Dance Club but still a really good time!
