I've been trying to find hotel rooms in Atlanta and Stone Mountain for October 15-16, and they all seem to be booked! Can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks!

That is the week of the next America Mart, (Huge convention in the ATL.) Also, Stn Mtn. has big Halloween and Fall festivals. What area of Atlanta do you want to stay in while you are here? I can make some recommendations...

Thanks, matt s! I will be in ATL on Oct. 14-15 for a seminar, and wanted to go from there to Stone Mountain for a couple of days. There is a laser show on Oct. 15. Any recommendations you have would be great! I "grabbed" a couple of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express while I could get them - good idea or no?

Oh, actually the conference is at the Airport Hilton, but we were trying to get to Stone Mtn (that's the HI Exp) on Saturday night, and then on to Savannah from there. Thanks!

You'll have to eat at Andiamo while you are there. That is a great hotel restaurant...
