JapanFest has been re-scheduled! It's now going to take place October 27 - 28... it'll still be held at Atlanta's Stone Mountain Park, on the Park's Events Meadow.

JapanFest was originally scheduled for September 15-16, but out of respect for the tragedy that took place on September 11, the organizers decided to postpone the event.

There's a cool thing happening at Zoo Atlanta Oct 6 & 7th. Miss Starlet the Elephant's Birthday Celebration! I heard about it from my sister who lives in Atlanta and she's taking her son. I guess he's about 8 years old. Figured somebody on the boards might be "interested" in finding out about it!
