I looked into this that last time I was going to Atlanta. The Residence Inn by Marriott in Midtown accepts dogs, but there's a $100 pet fee. Sheesh. The Red Roof Inn in Druid Hills takes dogs and doesn't charge a fee. It was too far from where I needed to be so I didn't take my dog. (Her name is Snickers!)

Ouch! A $100 fee for the dog? Is that even if there's not damage? I guess they've got to cover the damage that does get done but that seems high. Thanks for filling me in teach4life.

My wife and I just bring our cat along. We haven't asked anyone and haven't been asked about it. I think as long as the animal is house-broken and doesn't spray the furniture, they don't mind.

Thought I'd pass this along since we're all interesting in traveling with pets. It has answers to questions similiar to ours.

The pet fee is pretty standard. At least from my expierence. Myrtle Beach has several places that encourage pet owners to bring their dogs. I guess the site that teach4life linked to probably has some like it for Atlanta.
