Heritage Sandy Springs Announces 2008 Concerts by the Springs Performance Schedule

Heritage Sandy Springs announces the 12th annual Concerts by the Springs performance schedule. Held on the first Sunday of each month June through October, the outdoor, summer concert series is free and open to the public. Concerts are from 7-8:30 p.m. and are located at Heritage Green on the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, 6110 Bluestone Road, Sandy Springs, Ga. Offering something for everyone, this season features five unforgettable performances:

Sunday, June 1: Banks & Shane: From classic to country rock, come enjoy some good ol’-fashioned entertainment from Sandy Springs’ hometown favorite.

Sunday, July 6: Drivetrain: Bluegrass, country and gospel—one of the Southeast’s favorite acoustic bands.

Sunday, August 3: Kingsized: Come swing the night away with this popular Atlanta show band led by Big Mike Geier.

Sunday, September 7: Serenata: Sizzle through the night with this Latin trio.

Sunday, October 5: Swingin’ Medallions: The famous “patched madras” singers perform beach music favorites including their hit “Double Shot of My Baby’s Love.”

Table seating for six is available for rental. Tables are $100 per concert for non-members. The Heritage Sandy Springs member price is $90 per concert, or $425 for the entire series. Payment is due at the time of reservation; credit card, check or cash is accepted. No tables will be held without payment. No cancellations or refunds will be issued.

Concert goers are encouraged to arrive early and picnic with family and friends. Blankets and coolers are welcomed. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated parking lots.
