Baby Panda at Zoo Atlanta
Has anyone been following this story?
The only giant panda to be born in the US in 2010, the baby male was born on November 3. It's the third offspring of the giant panda pair, Lun Lun and Yang Yang. Zoo Atlanta has set up a "Panda Update" with photos and a Panda Live Cam on their website. Check it out: Panda Cam Following Chinese tradition, the cub won't be named until he is 100 days old. The public will be able to view the cub after he can walk, usually at about 4 months. That means you'll be able to go visit him sometime in Spring 2011. The giant panda is an endangered species native to China. There are only a few hundred in captivity and a few thousand in the wild.
