Last time we were in Atlanta, we stayed in Midtown and spent the whole weekend strolling 'round Piedmont Park, cafe hopping, bar hopping, boutique shopping. We had intended to go to the High Museum for one of the most important exhibits to visit the South in 50 years, but we were having too much fun to soak up any culture!

Midtown has changed so much over the last five years... and it's all good. It's like Soho, the Village and Central Park all rolled into one.

You've sparked my interest... what exhibit did you miss at the High? I might be going to see the Ansel Adams exhibit, but it doesn't start for another month. I love the High!

And yes, Midtown is great. I remember this cool restaurant/bar with a New Orleans-style courtyard... Front Page or something like that... is that still there?
