Thumbs up Six Flags

While in Atlanta recently, we took a day and went to Six Flags. It was a lot of fun, they've got a lot of roller coasters. the downside was standing in line. It sure is humid in Atlanta.

my girlfriend and I went to sixflags 2 weeks ago and had a blast!

you're right about the heat and humidity... but the lines were short for us. the longest we waited was about 10 mins. & most rides were only about 5 min wait. we went on a weekday, so that probably had something to do with it.

gotta try the batman inverted roller coaster. sit in the very front seats... it's worth the extra wait!]

and take a picnic lunch with you... they have picnic areas near the parking lot. they'll let you re-enter. it's alot cheaper that way (a hotdog, chips, and coke will cost you about $8 in the park)

and take a backpack with some bottled water - water is $3 for a tiny 10 oz. bottle.

Six Flags is great!!! We like to go a little later in the year when it's cooler and the lines aren't so long. Highly recommended.

oldyeller
wow....

it was about midnight and the pager went off..."work, work, work...." my wife bellowed from the comfort of our little queen sized snuggle nest. I leapt from the bed seeing it was Six Flags paging....another paper towel emergency....
you see i am oldyeller, installer of shower curtains and paper towel dispensers in bathrooms across the southeast. "Quick honey...grab the tool box, we are going to Six Flags!"
I won't bore you all with the mishaps of the auto-flush 231xgl but all was fine by the parks opening, thus leaving the little lady and i an entire day to enjoy the fun of our past childhood...and what a time we had!

First off they got some of the craziest rides around...i have not felt that much turbulaence and queziness in my stomach since i last flew Delta. Flippin and twistin nearly got sick trice, it brought back fond memories of the honeymoon with the little lady...luv ya honey! The roller coasters had more ups and downs that the recent Nasdaq and well we know how rocky thta has been....not just those tech stocks..even the shower curtain industry is taking a bath...get it a bath...whowee it was fun!

Now i remember being a young buck and heading down to this old rock quarry...me and biily jo would jump from this tree and we thought we were the baddest boys of buck county...well that is until that unfortunate catfish incident...oh but that's another story. Either way we thought we were daredevils..but Six Flags has got this mermaid and mariner show and man these guys are crazy! They are chasing this mermaid(and no offense to you my love, but i would be chasing her too, the mermaid was finer that minnie pearl in her 30's) and they would climb up this ladder as high as the eye could see and leep into the pool. It was like watching them hollywood types...AMAZING!!!

Rides shows, people watching, and some of the softest tissues around, six flags is the best. I can't wait until the next paper towel incident, i am thinking of taking the kids along...they would love it!

Until next time, have fun and wash those hands!
